The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is progressing towards its global launch, as its international variant, identified by the model number “2505APX7BG,” has obtained certification from the EEC, as reported by TheTechOutlook.
This development follows previous indications of both the Chinese and international models being cataloged in the GSMA IMEI database, suggesting a potential release around May 2025.

The Chinese version is designated with the model number “2505APX7BC.” While detailed specifications for the Mix Flip 2 are yet to be disclosed, its EEC certification confirms its forthcoming availability in European markets.
For reference, the 2024 Xiaomi Mix Flip, its predecessor, set a high bar with its premium features, including a 6.9-inch OLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, and a resolution of 1.5K. The secondary 4-inch cover display also supported a 120Hz refresh rate and comparable brightness.
The device was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, offering up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. A 4,780mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging ensured longevity, while it operated on Android 14-based HyperOS.
The camera configuration featured two 50MP rear sensors and a 32MP front camera. In related news, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra may be launching sooner than anticipated, with reports indicating that it could debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, scheduled for February.
Speculated features include a 6.73-inch micro-quad-curved AMOLED display with 2K resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities, and an advanced camera system featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-900 primary sensor.
