Xiaomi is anticipated to unveil the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in China next month, with a potential global launch coinciding with the MWC Barcelona event. Prior to its official announcement, details regarding the device’s RAM, storage configurations, and color options have surfaced online.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be offered in three color variants and will feature 16GB of RAM. This model will serve as the third addition to the Xiaomi 15 series and is projected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, potentially incorporating a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor.
According to a report from 91Mobiles, citing tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414), the Xiaomi 15 Ultra may launch with a configuration of 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage, with additional storage options likely available in the Chinese market.
In comparison, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was released globally with a similar 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration, while in China, it was available in variants of 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to come in black, white, and silver, whereas the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was introduced in black and white only. As previously mentioned, the highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to enter the Chinese market next month, with its global debut expected during the first week of March at MWC 2025 in Barcelona.
The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro models will accompany the Ultra variant, which is likely to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and operate on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.
It is expected to support wireless charging, 90W wired charging, and satellite connectivity. The device is also rumored to feature a 2K quad-curved display and a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, including a 1-inch sensor with an f/1.63 aperture and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Additionally, it is speculated to have IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
