Windsor police searching for suspect after west-end armed robbery

Windsor police are searching for a suspect who allegedly walked into a west-end business carrying a gun, demanded money from an employee, and fled with the stolen cash.
Officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at a business located in the 700 block of Felix Avenue around 3 a.m. on Thursday.
An investigation revealed that the suspect, armed with a long gun, had allegedly entered the business and demanded that the employee withdraw money from the cash register.

Windsor police said that the employee complied with the suspect’s demands.
After allegedly taking money from the cash register, police said the suspect fled the area with no further incident.
No physical injuries were reported.
Windsor police are now asked for the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male, around six feet tall, with blue eyes. He was wearing dark clothing at the time of the armed robbery.
Investigators are also requesting that residents and business owners in the area review their dash cam or surveillance footage for any evidence related to the incident.
