If some stranger gives you chocolate, you know what to do right? Likewise, if a man in an Armani suit approaches you, run away. Apparently, the Armani suit scam is back in Dubai. An unidentified victim who nearly fell prey to the fraud opened up about the incident on social media.
It is suggested the incident took place in Dubai Media City, where the scammer introduced himself as a Milan-based fashion designer. The person in question was apparently asking for directions at the airport. But don’t fall for it because they will bring up a scenario about struggling with excess baggage fees.
The conversation reaches the point where the scammer makes promises of gifting his Armani suits but there’s a twist. They will ask for your little help with local cash and money. If you don’t have it, they’ll request you to withdraw money from the nearest ATM.
All you need to do is deny the request and run away. This isn’t the first time that the Armani Suit scam stories have surfaced online, previously many have fallen prey to fraud and lost money.
