Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, widely acknowledged as a scholar, who laid the foundation for the country’s economic reforms, passed away on December 26 night at Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He was 92.
Singh, who served as Prime Minister for two consecutive terms under the Congress-led UPA government from 2004 to 2014, had been in poor health for the last few months.
His family, friends, and neighbours remember him fondly and speak of him with pride and gratitude.
