The Truecaller App Store preview page notes, “Introducing Auto-block spam: Truecaller can now automatically decline all spam calls for you. Available for Premium users.”
The Auto-Block Spam functionality, which is currently accessible on Android devices, automatically prevents spam calls recognized by Truecaller. Once these calls are blocked, they will not ring and will be recorded in the call log as “Fraud” or “Scammer.”
This functionality is enabled through the “Protect” option, which automatically rejects any incoming fraudulent calls. Users have the ability to block either “Top Spammers” or “All Spammers,” thereby enabling the Truecaller app to efficiently filter out spam calls.
The feature eliminates the necessity for users to manually decline spam calls and is solely accessible to Truecaller Premium subscribers. The premium subscription offers various advantages, including prioritized customer support, an ad-free environment, and Live Caller ID functionality on iOS.
The Auto-Block Spam feature has been introduced for iPhone users operating on iOS 18; however, it remains exclusive to Truecaller Premium subscribers utilizing the most recent version 13.12 available in the Apple Store.
In May of this year, Truecaller launched the “AI Call Scanner” feature for its Android application, aimed at detecting spam calls that utilize AI-generated or cloned voices.

As stated by the caller identification service, this feature has been developed to differentiate between human voices and those produced by artificial intelligence, thereby providing users with warnings regarding possible scams and fraudulent schemes.
