Moon Ga-young, one of the most influential Korean actresses of her generation, rose to stardom with her leading role in True Beauty. Since then she has continued to captivate audiences with her nuanced and powerful performances in various hit dramas. With a flair for elegant style and a talent for acting, the 28-year-old is one to watch. Now, it seems we might see her paired with IU’s boyfriend Lee Jong-suk in a new drama.

According to Soompi, the talks of their collaboration began surfacing on October 4, when an industry insider claimed Moon Ga-young might be starring in Seochodong. Reacting to the speculation, her management agency PEAK J Entertainment confirmed the actress is “positively reviewing the offer.” It is important to note nothing concrete has been materialized yet.

Titled Seochodong, the new project is touted to be a legal drama, where Moon Ga-young plays a second-year lawyer Kang Hee Ji, a confident woman with a happy-go-lucky persona. Meanwhile, Lee Jong-suk, who is known for his roles in Doctor Stranger, Big Mouth, and Pinnochio, will essay veteran lawyer Ahn Joo-hyung. If things run smoothly, this Park Seung-woo directorial is aiming to premiere in 2025.

Besides this legal drama, Moon Ga-young will also be a part of Black Salt Dragon opposite Twinkling Watermelon fame Choi Hyun-wook.
