The world has forgotten that teenager Peter Parker (Tom Holland) was the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. But Marvel cannot just let his story bite the dust. It was in July 2024 when Kevin Feige, the Marvel Studios President, dropped a significant update about the script of the highly anticipated Spider-Man 4 being in development. There’s no doubt that fans are eager to learn what will unfold in Peter Parker’s life next.

Last we saw him in ‘No Way Home’, where all the memories of Peter Parker being Spider-Man was wiped from the world, including from the minds of his closest friends MJ (his girlfriend played by Zendaya) and Ned Leeds (Played by Jacob Batalon). Well, now Tom Holland has officially revealed the title of the fourth installment at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

Using a pre-recorded video, Holland confirmed the upcoming film directed by Shang-Chi fame Destin Daniel Cretton is named ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day.’ Holland, who is currently busy shooting Christopher Nolan’s star-studded ‘The Odyssey,’ said in the pre-recorded video, “I am so sorry I can’t be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie. I know we left you with a massive cliffhanger at the end of ‘No Way Home,’ so ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That’s all I can say.”

Holland, who is known to divulge spoilers, continued, “That’s all I’ve been allowed to say. And I’m well over the hump of giving away spoilers, so don’t be worried. I’m not going to do that today. But thank you for your support. It’s always a joy, and I will be back next year, hopefully.”

The story of Spider-Man 4 remains shrouded in mystery, but it is expected to hit the theaters in July 2026.
