Avengers: Doomsday‘ is one of the most talked-about movies for multiple reasons. Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Pedro Pascal, Florence Pugh, and Tom Hiddleston are all set to feature in the upcoming Russo Brothers-directed film. Talking about Tom, in particular, he will be returning as Loki.

Speaking with Max Balegde at the 2025 Oliver Awards, Hiddleston opened up about being a part of ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘. The actor used the word ‘remarkable’ to describe the news because he ‘can talk about it’, being in a place knowing what’s coming, but ‘not being able to say anything’.

“Very, very excited. It’s really remarkable, actually, that I can talk about it because, mostly, I’m in a position of knowing and not being able to say anything,” said Hiddleston.

When asked about the challenge of keeping spoilers, he said, “It’s strange. You have to be very disciplined about carrying this secret around. It’s been an extraordinary chapter of my life playing Loki, and it’s not over yet.”

Tom’s first appearance as Loki was in the 2011 film ‘Thor‘. He later reprised his character in ‘The Avengers‘, ‘Thor: The Dark World‘, ‘Thor: Ragnarok‘, and ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘. He also starred in the spin-off series ‘Loki‘ (2021), followed by a second season (2023).

The excitement among fans to see Hiddleston as Loki again is sky-high, and we totally get it. ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘ will be released in 2026.
