The Flyers are riding a 10-game winning streak after Sunday’s 6-1 win at home over the Caledon Admirals, which followed a 4-1 win at home against the Collingwood Blues on Saturday. With it, the Flyers improved to 35-5-2-1 on the season, which puts the team eight points ahead of Collingwood in the Western Conference standings and a point up on the Trenton Golden Hawks for top spot overall in the Ontario Junior Hockey League.

On Sunday, Gavin Grundner scored twice for the Flyers with Brody Cook, Dalton Kane, Michael Denney and Ethan Walker adding single goals.
On Saturday, Marquise Brown, Cade Bol, Walker and Brayden Degelas scored single goals for the Flyers while Colton Smith added three assists.
Cyclones drop Vipers
The LaSalle Vipers dropped a 6-2 decision on the road Sunday to the Listowel Cyclones in Western Conference play in the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
Alec Stewart and Matteo Vilardi scored single goals for the Vipers (22-14-0-0) against the Cyclones (23-10-2-0).
Sharks take pair
The Wheatley Sharks picked up a pair of road wins in Bill Stobbs Division play in the Provincial Junior Hockey League.
On Sunday, Kyle Bleau scored twice for the Sharks (19-16-1-2) in a 6-4 win over the Blenheim Blades (17-16-2-0). Jaydon Ferguson, Mitchell Hickson, Braydin Metcalfe and Lucas Blanchette added single goals.
On Saturday, Bleau scored the shootout winner in the fourth round. Aidan Hill and Owen Papulkas scored single goals to force extra time as the Sharks rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period for a 5-4 win over the Mooretown Flags. Stefan Jacobs and Darian Dufour also scored against the Flags (15-15-4-2).

Meanwhile, the Amherstburg Admirals grabbed a 5-2 road win over the Walpole Island Wild on Saturday.
Brett Jones had a goal and three assists for the Admirals (17-15-1-2). Freddie McCroy, Drew Booker, Rory Sandison and Ryan Clark also scored for Amherstburg against the Wild (4-26-2-0).
Athletics select Dalpe
Hudson Dalpe was selected by the St. Catharines Athletics in Sunday’s Ontario Junior Lacrosse Association Draft.
The junior A Athletics selected the 16-year-old Dalpe in the second round with the 20th pick overall. Dalpe had 10 goals and 15 points in 10 games as an affiliated player with the junior B Windsor Clippers last season.
Lancer basketball splits
The Windsor Lancers women’s basketball team moved into a first-place tie atop the OUA West Division standings with a 66-63 win over the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday. However, the men’s team fell 83-71 to the Gryphons.
For the women, a 20-9 run to end the third quarter allowed the Lancers (11-4) to erase a seven-point deficit to the Gryphons (11-4).
Leah Tate finished with 19 points to lead the Lancers while Vanessa Budimunda and Harriet Carey each finished with 10 points

The men built a 12-point lead at the half, but could not hold off a second-half charge by the Gryphons.
Yohann Sam had 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lancers (7-8) while Emanuel Otong finished with 21 points against the Gryphons (5-10) and Simeon Smith added 11 points.
Lancers hockey falls
The Windsor Lancers women’s hockey team scored three goals in the third period to force overtime before falling 4-3 to the Brock Badgers in OUA action on the road Saturday.
Maggie Mitani, Maggi DeWolf-Russ and Teagan Pare scored for the Lancers (11-4-3-1).
The men’s team had a five-game winning streak snapped with a 7-1 road loss to the Ottawa GeeGees. Matt McNamara had the lone goal for the Lancers (12-8-0-0).
St. Clair basketball
Mazin Tiea had his fifth double-double of the season with 24 points and 12 rebounds as the St. Clair Saints men’s basketball team scored a 85-71 OCAA road win over the Canadore Panthers in North Bay on Saturday.
Jacob Masters added 17 points for the Saints (11-2) against Panthers (1-12) with Amhad Khazaleh chipping in with 12 points off the bench and Darnelle Peddie finishing with 10 points.
