Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is nearing its end but no one is ready to say goodbye just yet. The global pop icon struggled through tears on Saturday, November 23, at her sixth and final show in Toronto, as she received a heartfelt minutes-long standing ovation after performing Champagne Problems from her album Evermore.

Footage circulating online shows Swift addressing fans as she appeared a bit emotional, “Toronto, we’re at the very end of this tour so you doing that (the standing ovation), you have no idea how much it means to me.” She turned away from the crowd to wipe away her tears, “This tour … I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. That was … uh, I’m just having a bit of a moment so…” Swift paused as she choked up again as fans continued to cheer her on.

“It’s not even the last show!” she joked and added, “My band, my crew, all of my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this. And you’ve put so much of your lives into being with us tonight and to giving us that moment that we will never forget.”

“We’ve loved our time in Toronto, it’s been so amazing. I love you guys. Thanks so much for that,” Swift concluded her emotional address and her message is going insanely viral on the internet. Swifties in large numbers have reacted to the viral clip on social media. A user on X wrote, “I don’t know why but seeing her cry makes my heart ache.”

Another added, “I legit saw her starting to cry and now I’m almost crying too.”

One more joined the bandwagon, “She’s so precious we gotta protect her at all costs.”

Meanwhile, a Swiftie said, “If I can barely handle this IDK who I’ll be on the closing night.”

The Eras Tour which began in March 2023 will end in Vancouver with three final shows scheduled on December 6, 7, and 8.
