‘Squid Game’ season 3 UAE release date
Although the official confirmation is yet awaited, Netflix Korea reportedly made a mistake by letting it slip up. It is suggested the show will return with season 3 on June 27, 2025.
What happened in ‘Squid Game’ season 2
We were introduced to a series of new players including the mother-son duo Park Yong-sik (Yang Dong-geun) and Jang Geum-ja (Kang Ae-sim), cryptocurrency influencer Lee Myung-gi (Yim Si-wan), pregnant player Kim Jun-hee (Jo Yu-ri), rapper Thanos (Choi Seung-Hyun aka T.O.P), and Hyun-ju (Park Sung-hoon).
Gi-hun aka Player 456 enters the game again but his revolt against the pink guards fails miserably, leading to the death of some of his closest friends. In the post-credit scene, we see the return of the iconic ‘Red Light, Green Light’ doll but she’s not alone. The motion-sensor doll has a partner namely Chul-su, who’ll probably help the original one to kill more players as the game will continue after the failed coup.
