Netflix’s hit Korean reality dating series ‘Single’s Inferno’, which has now become a fan-favourite show across the globe, has returned to the OTT platform with season four. It follows young people fighting for love and a chance to escape the deserted island Inferno for a date in the luxury locale Paradise. The only rule is that contestants must keep their ages and jobs a secret until they’re on a Paradise date.
Hanhae, Dex, Hong Jin-Kyung, Lee Da-hee, and Kyuhyun, join the host panelists this season, where female contestant Lee Si-an has become a major topic of interest. She is being pursued by three people: Jang Theo, Yuk Jun-seo, and Kim Jeong-su. None of the male contestants are backing down in the race to win her over, and Lee Si-an has candidly vocalised her confusion about being easily swayed by all three men.
Viewers desperately wanted Lee Si-an to end up with Jang Theo, who doesn’t shy away from openly professing his feelings for her. That’s not all, Theo has already declared he won’t try to build a connection with other girls because he has locked Si-an in his heart. From romantic dates to gifting her a handmade floral ring, Theo’s romantic antics have won over the internet.
Which is exactly why Lee Si-an’s shocking bedroom scene with Yuk Jun-seo isn’t going down well with fans. During a Paradise date with Jun-seo, Si-an breaks down feeling overwhelmed by the show’s twists and turns and her inability to decide who she should choose. Jun-seo pacified Si-an and they ended up sharing the same bed in episode 8. Their close banter and cuddlesome moments have garnered massive flak with fans screaming ‘Theo deserves better.’
