Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most talented actors in the industry and there’s absolutely no denying that. Over the years, he has appeared in some of the most iconic films. Even today, there’s no stopping him. But did you know, King Khan once almost quit Bollywood?

While speaking at the Global Freight Summit, SRK confessed that he almost quit acting during the initial days of his career. He said, “I thought I am the best actor when I came on the set. I was overconfident and then realised, everyone on set were acting better than me.” After seeing that, SRK took the first flight back to Delhi from Mumbai.

He added, “Every time, I am learning more, I am realising how bad I am. Sometimes I see an old film and think how could I not do it better?” He went on to add that in 35 years of his career, every time he goes on a set, he realizes how much more there is to know and learn about acting.

On the work front, SRK will be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘King‘ co-starring his daughter Suhana Khan. The upcoming action-packed film will mark the first onscreen collaboration of the father-daughter duo. As per reports, SRK and the team will start shooting for the film by year-end.

That’s not all. The actor has also lent his voice to the iconic character of Mufasa in the Hindi version of ‘Mufasa: The Lion King‘. His son Aryan Khan has voiced the character of Simba, whereas AbRam is the voice of young Mufasa. The film will be released on December 20.

On the other hand, King Khan will reportedly make a cameo in his son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut project ‘Stardom‘, which will be released in 2025.
