Shah Rukh Khan declares he’s ‘just a bloody star’ when asked about producing son Aryan Khan’s directorial project

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a dapper appearance at Netflix’s ‘Next on Netflix’ event on Monday (January 3). King Khan spoke about producing his son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut project, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood‘.

much to everyone’s surprise, SRK referred to himself as a ‘naam ka producer’ (producer in name only) and said something that evoked cheers from the audience.

While talking about his production house Red Chillies Entertainment collaborating with Netflix, SRK said, “Everyone else takes care of this, I am just a producer for namesake. My thing is very simple. All these producer, director, writer, production… I am just a bloody star. The music is better, producers don’t get any.” As he said this, the crowd was filled with cheers.

Aryan Khan’s directorial debut project ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood‘ will be released on Netflix later this year. As per reports, SRK will make a cameo. Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Bobby Deol will also reportedly appear in the upcoming web series.

On the other hand, SRK will be seen in an action-packed film ‘King‘, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. He will share screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma, and Abhishek Bachchan. The team is currently shooting for the film, slated for 2026 release.
