If you’ve been excited about the Nakheland Festival in Dubai this May, we’ve some bad news for you. It’s a scam! Yes, you’ve read it right.

The organizers promised music lovers an unforgettable experience, with headliners like BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Miley Cyrus, Charlie Puth, Swedish House Mafia, Tame Impala, and Fred Again. Set to take place from May 23 to May 25 at Marmoom, Al Qudra, Dubai, it seemed like a perfect lineup. But turns out, it’s all fake.

A fake Instagram account, wth the name Nakheland Festival, shared a bunch of photos featuring the artists and details about their performance. All of the posts featured a watermark of Live Nation (one of the world’s biggest live entertainment companies), but none of it is real.

Live Nation issued a statement, confirming that it’s a fake event. It reads, “It has come to our attention that unauthorized entities are advertising an event under the name of Nakeland as hosted by Live Nation Middle East. We want to make it clear that this event is not legitimate. We strongly advise everyone to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of events and tickets by purchasing only from our official partners and authorized ticketing platforms. Your safety and satisfaction are paramount, and we are committed to ensuring that everyone has an enjoyable experience at all our events.”

So, don’t fall for the trap.
