Shortly after midnight on Saturday, patrol officers recognized a white Pontiac Torrent that had previously been reported stolen from a gas station parking lot at Broadway Avenue and Taylor Street East.
According to Saskatoon police in a news release, when the occupants of the vehicle noticed police approaching, they fled, “driving erratically” as they went.

Police used a tire deflation device to slow them down, and the Pontiac eventually came to a stop in the 300 block of Avenue Q South when it hit a parked car.
Police say three suspects fled the scene and have not yet been found. No descriptions were available.
On Sunday in an unrelated incident shortly after 2 a.m., patrol officers spotted a stolen vehicle — a black Audi A4, whose driver had refused to stop for the police the previous day — near Pearson Place and Diefenbaker Drive.
After what police described as a “high-risk traffic stop,” three men were arrested.
Police say the driver provided “a different person’s identification” before officers confirmed his identity. The driver was in violation of “several” court-imposed conditions, police said.
