The introduction of a Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in India seems somewhat unusual, given that reports suggest the device will be available only in select markets, with India not being among them, at least according to prevailing rumors.
Nevertheless, the phone has recently surfaced in South Korea, a confirmed market for its release, where it is already available for preorder at the local T Store.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, known as the Special Edition foldable, is expected to be available for preorder from October 18 to October 24, with an official release date set for October 25.
This timeline suggests a launch strategy that spans from Friday to the following Friday, indicating that the announcement for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in the United States may occur approximately two weeks from now.
The Special Edition of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is anticipated to feature a more expansive 8-inch inner display, complemented by a 6.5-inch cover screen on the exterior. When closed, it is expected to measure 10.6 mm in thickness, while in its open state, it will be 4.9 mm thick.
Consequently, the slimmest Z Fold will actually have a slightly greater thickness when closed compared to Google’s Pixel 9 Fold Pro, which Google claims to be the thinnest foldable phone, a statement that holds true only in select markets.
