The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is anticipated to be unveiled in January, featuring four models instead of the typical three. This lineup will include the standard Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and a new variant known as the Galaxy S25 Slim, which may be introduced at a later date.

The flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to exhibit modifications to its signature boxy design, as evidenced by recently leaked dummy units that support this alteration. This iteration of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is likely to present a more rounded aesthetic compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

A post shared by tipster @Jukanlosreve on X (formerly Twitter) included images of the dummy units, indicating a design evolution for Samsung’s premier non-foldable smartphone, favoring rounded edges over the previous flat design. The leak also showcased two of the four color options for the device, including a black variant.

Reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 6.86-inch AMOLED display with slimmer bezels than its predecessor. Additionally, the device may be equipped with a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto camera, a 50-megapixel 5x telephoto camera, and an enhanced 50-megapixel ultrawide camera.

It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, supporting up to 16GB of RAM. The smartphone could also include a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging capabilities.

A recent report suggests that the estimated bill of materials (BoM) for the device is at least $110 (approximately Rs. 9,300) higher than that of its predecessor, indicating a potential price increase in certain markets.
