Samsung is preparing to host its Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, where the Galaxy S25 series is anticipated to be unveiled. Teaser posters for the event have indicated the presence of four devices, likely including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and a new Galaxy S25 Slim model.

Recent leaks have provided the first potential renders of the Galaxy S25 Slim, showcasing its sleek design. It is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12GB of RAM, with a possible release in May, although it is expected to be showcased during the Galaxy Unpacked event.
Renowned leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) has shared CAD renders of the Galaxy S25 Slim in collaboration with Smartprix. The renders depict a device with a flat front, back, and sides. The display features narrow bezels and a hole-punch cutout at the top for the front-facing camera.
Additionally, the rear of the device appears to house a triple camera setup, reminiscent of the design elements seen in last year’s Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S25 renders.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is reported to have a thickness of 6.4mm without the camera module and 8.3mm with it. In comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to measure 8.2mm in thickness. The display size is expected to range from 6.7 inches to 6.8 inches, with overall dimensions of 159x76x6.4mm.
In contrast, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is anticipated to measure 162.8×77.6×8.2mm, indicating that the Slim variant could be 1.6mm narrower, 3.8mm shorter, and 1.8mm thinner than the Ultra model.
The camera configuration for the Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to include a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom capabilities.
It is expected to operate on a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, complemented by 12GB of RAM, and will run on Android 15 with One UI 7. The Galaxy S25 Slim is anticipated to be previewed at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, with its official release expected in May.
