Salman Khan starrer ‘Kick 2’ officially announced; Fans can’t keep calm

Salman Khan starrer ‘Kick‘ was released in 2014. For quite some time now, there have been rumours about the film’s sequel. Finally, on October 4, producer Sajid Nadiadwala officially announced the sequel of the action thriller.

Sajid shared a monochrome photo of Salman Khan on X (formerly known as Twitter) and announced Kick II. He captioned the pic, “It was a great kick 2 photo shoot Sikandar…!!! From Grand Sajid Nadiadwala.”

Excited fans shared their reactions to the good news. One fan wrote, “Wow.” Another fan commented, “Excited.” “The King is back,” wrote a fan. Another one commented, “Wow Kick 2 after Sikandar.” “Director and actress kaun (who is the director and actress),” wrote a fan. Another one commented, “So excited.”

Directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘Kick‘ starred Salman Khan opposite Jacqueliene Fernandez. The movie was a commercial success.

On the other hand, Bhaijaan is currently busy shooting for AR Murugadoss’ ‘Sikandar‘. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, it also stars Rashmika Mandanna and ‘Baahubali‘ actor Sathyaraj.

The Bollywood superstar is prepping hard for his upcoming film. In September, Salman treated fans with a gym pic on Instagram. He captioned the post, “#Sikandar.” The AR Murugadoss’ directorial film will be released on Eid 2025.

Besides this, he is also rumoured to be a part of Atlee’s action drama co-starring Kamal Haasan. Reportedly, they will begin shooting for the upcoming film in 2025. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the film’s pre-production will begin this month. The final paperwork will be completed after Salman and Kamal Haasan hear the full narration. More details about the film are yet to be disclosed.
