Researcher chosen for ICSSR grant

Adya S.A., a researcher from Kerala University, has been chosen for the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) grant under the Ministry of Education.

The grant will facilitate her visit to Japan for data collection as part of her research work.

Ms. Adya’s research focuses on ‘Cultural memory in select Japanese traditional artistic practices: A dialogic study’. The grant, which will facilitate her data collection in Japan, was awarded considering her expertise in Japanese language and the unique subject. The support will cover her visits to Tokyo and Kyoto for consulting archival material for the research, according to an official release.
