Additionally, the company has streamlined interactions with Meta AI, its artificial intelligence assistant, by introducing new wake-up commands and other features.
In a blog post, Meta revealed that the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses now respond to the “Hey Meta” command for activation, enabling users to ask follow-up questions without the need for repetition.
This update renders the previous “look and” command unnecessary, which was used for general inquiries or to identify objects of interest.
Users can also set reminders through voice commands, with the glasses now capable of retaining information. For example, they can remember the location where a user has parked their vehicle at an airport.
Furthermore, the addition of video capabilities allows users to request identification of landmarks or notable sites while exploring, effectively transforming the glasses into a virtual tour guide.
While shopping for groceries, users can seek cooking suggestions based on the ingredients they are examining.
