OPP search for suspect in car, credit card theft

Police are looking for help to identify a suspect who stole a car in Lakeshore and then used a stolen credit card.

Officers with the OPP community street crime unit are investigating the theft of a white Acura sedan from a driveway in the area of Amy Croft Drive and West Pike Creek Road sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 2 and 4 a.m. Jan. 3.

The vehicle has since been recovered.

A suspect was also observed on security cameras using a stolen credit card taken from the vehicle.

Investigators are attempting to identify the individual.
