A new product release is scheduled for March 4. While the overall design appears similar to its predecessor, it indicates a notable enhancement in the camera system. Tipster Sanju Choudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu) shared a purported hands-on render of the unannounced Nothing Phone 3a on X.
The image depicts the device in a black color and seemingly encased in a hard shell. The rear view of the phone is visible, showcasing a horizontally arranged triple rear camera setup, which represents a significant change from the dual rear camera module of the Nothing Phone 2a.
The LED flash is positioned above this module, while the Glyph design remains obscured by the protective case. According to previous leaks, the Nothing Phone 3a may feature a 6.8-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and run on Nothing OS 3.1, based on Android 15. The camera configuration is rumored to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor.
On the front, the device may be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Additionally, the Nothing Phone 3a is anticipated to contain a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging capabilities and support for NFC connectivity. The product announcement is set for March 4, coinciding with the week of MWC 2025.
However, there has been no confirmation that this announcement will specifically involve the Phone 3, Phone 3a, or Phone 3a Pro. The brand is expected to release further teasers regarding the product launch in the coming weeks.
