Karma Ben Messaoud aka “Caramella” was the first contestant to receive an engagement proposal on ‘Love is Blind, Habibi.’ Unfortunately, she didn’t end up tying the knot with her partner Ammar.
But Karma is one of the breakout stars to have received admiration from viewers for not choosing relationship over passion and compromising her career choices. The female suitor entered the social experiment, “Looking for a partner who loves people, embraces life, and appreciates everything,” which she almost did but things didn’t work her way.
Who is Karma Ben Messaoud?
Hailing from Tunisia, Karma lives in Dubai and was introduced on the show as a business owner. She also has experience working at a Management Consulting Company. At the time of filming ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’, Karma was 29 years old but has now turned a year older.
She’s a passionate belly dancer
Karma found love in Ammar, a dentist, but their relationship did not last long because of differences in opinions. Karma expressed her desire to be a belly dancer, which Ammar found to be a big “X”. He didn’t want his spouse to be a performer and with no breakthrough in the conflict the couple called it quits for each other. “Every person in the world has their own identity. It’s what makes them who they are. They sometimes have to sacrifice a relationship for something important… [Dancing] It’s not trivial to me. It’s a huge part of my life,” Karma told Ammar.
It appears Karma has fulfilled her passion as her Instagram bio suggests she is now a “full-time performer” and an “artist.”
