‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ is gearing up to tap into the Middle East market and we are all excited. Hosted by celebrity couple Elham Ali and Khaled Saqer, the Netflix dating show follows Arab singles who are determined to find whether ‘Love is Blind’ by participating in a social experiment. They’ll connect with potential suitors sight unseen and decide if they want to commit to marriage before meeting face-to-face.

One of the contestants to join the social experiment is Asma Sami, a regional marketing manager and entrepreneur. She was 33 while filming the show but has now turned a year older. “I am deep and delightful, you won’t believe the mix,” stated Asma in her contestant bio and only time will tell if someone takes a liking to her fun-blend personality.

Who is Asma Sami?

With Egyptian roots, Asma has lived in Saudi, Canada, and now Dubai. She is all for women’s empowerment which led her to co-found F365 movement, a vibrant female community designed to support and enrich the experiences of women everywhere. But her journey to success wasn’t an easy one.

When Asma moved out of her house, she wanted to ‘optimize’ at her own cast but she had to undergo many hardships. “So I left my house, had a surgery, lost my job, broke up in a new city with no money and literally stayed at a friend’s place. And this was the moment of impact,” Asma said in a podcast.

Asma loves fitness

Along with supporting women, she is a massive fitness enthusiast and loves to hit the gym. She encourages her followers to live a disciplined life.

‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ will premiere on October 10.
