It wasn’t long ago when Netflix dropped its Middle East edition of the dating reality series ‘Love is Blind’ and fans have begun hailing it as the “best one” out of the whole franchise. Celebrity couple Elham Ali and Khaled Saqer host the ‘Habibi’ version where Arab singles connect and commit to marriage but sight unseen.

Well, the format of ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ remains quite similar to all its predecessors, except a few changes to cater to the Emirati community. Originally, Love is Blind would host a honeymoon vacation after the pod sessions and also provide accommodations for the couples to move in together to gauge their intimacy compatibility. However, in the Habibi version the couples were provided individual rooms to honour Arabic traditions.

Though the entire experiment remained the same, there were few tweaks made here and there to not offend the Middle East community and culture. Amid this the release time of ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ is overlapping with that of ‘Love is Blind US’ season 7 and it didn’t take long for fans to draw comparisons between the two. Well, the final verdict is in favour of the Arab edition as fans are labelling the US version “boring” and “a clown show.” Don’t believe us? Here’s the proof:

A user on X wrote, “Need them to cancel all the other Love is Blind franchises and gimme another 14 seasons of this one real telly Love is Blind, Habibi.”

Another agreed, “This would never happen on Love is Blind US. Clown show. Love is Blind, Habibi is so good. Netflix needs to just continue with different cultures around the world.”

One more added, “10 minutes into Love is Blind, Habibi and it’s already better than the last 3 seasons of Love is Blind US.”

‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ is yet to drop its reunion episode.
