The ‘Love is Blind, Habibi‘ reunion episode was recently released on Netflix. The participants joined hosts Elham Ali and Khaled Saqer to discuss what went wrong with their respective partners and more. Talking about Simo and Hajar, they were among the six couples to get engaged in the dating reality show. Unfortunately, their relationship ended after Simo left the show without informing Hajar.

It all happened after Simo got into a fight with Chafic. On the other hand, Hajar chose not to get involved. Upset by Hajar’s behaviour, Simo left the show. In a confessional, he said that he had a problem with Hajar not supporting him. “If a woman is not standing with me, then no,” he added.

In the reunion episode, Hajar claimed it was not the real reason why he left. She said, “I feel upset that people think Simo left because I didn’t stand by him. I don’t see it that way. I have a different point of view. I think he left because he could not swallow his pride in his fight with Chafic.” When host Elham Ali asked Simo if he owed an apology to Hajar, he said no.

Following the release of the ‘Love is Blind, Habibi‘ reunion episode, many shared their thoughts on Simo. While a few showed their support, a section of netizens slammed him for his ‘rude’ behaviour.

Amid the negativity, Simo has been staying positive. On October 3, he finally broke his silence on receiving negative comments and thanked fans for supporting him. He shared a video on his Instagram along with the caption, “It’s all love. Thank you all.”

In the video, he says, “Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for the sweet messages. The type of energy I’m receiving is amazing. And as you know, this is a part of life. In every good there is bad and in every bad there is good. I’m receiving bad comments but it’s all good. You have the right to say whatever you feel like and I have no issue with this. It’s ok but please guys I want you to know something about me. This is my advice to you. If you don’t trust yourself and if you don’t love yourself, how will you trust or love other people?” He asked fans to focus on the good and positive things.

All episodes of ‘Love is Blind, Habibi‘ are available on Netflix.
