Chafic Yactine, the youngest male suitor on Netflix’s debut season of ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’, has now become a breakout star. He garnered traction for multiple reasons, be it his jealousy conflict with Nour, his physical fight with Simo, or his adorable equation with partner Dounia. Now, after tasting fame, Chafic revealed he wouldn’t mind featuring in Dubai Bling, an Emirati spinoff of the hit reality series Bling Empire.
The show chronicles the life of socialites living in the high-flying circle of Dubai and their lavish lifestyle. In an interview with Khaleej Times, Chafic said he wouldn’t mind joining the show, “I have few friends, like Ebraheem Al Samadi, who is a super genuine guy, like amazing Danya Mohammed and her husband, who are on the show. They are super genuine. So why not?” But that’s not all; he also doesn’t mind doing a Survivor show, where contestants are forced to complete challenging tasks to win the ultimate jackpot prize.
Chafic and Dounia, the youngest couple on ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’, mutually decided they didn’t want to tie the knot on the wedding day. But they continued dating outside the experiment to work on their relationship before taking the massive step. During the reunion episode, it was confirmed the couple is still engaged and has plans to marry in the near future. However, they haven’t set a wedding date yet and Chafic has weighed in on their reasons why.
“I think we have lot of stuff to achieve together first, because a wedding is not a joke. We also don’t believe in divorce. If we marry, we marry for life. I will take my time. She has a professional career. I have something that I’m working on. We’re just waiting for the right time,” he told the portal.
All episodes of ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ are currently streaming on Netflix.
