Love is Blind, Habibi‘s youngest couple Dounia and Chafic got engaged after connecting over shared values of the importance of family. However, they mutually decided not to tie the knot on the wedding day. They wanted to know each other better before taking the next step. Now, a year later, they are finally ready to be hitched.

Chafic went down on his knees again for his ladylove. The Senegalese Lebanese entrepreneur proposed to Dounia at Banyan Tree Dubai and she said yes. The proposal was all things love.

The couple is in a happy space. In a recent interview shared on Chafic’s YouTube channel, he opened up about the surprise proposal. When asked why he proposed to Dounia again, he responded by saying, “In the show it was marriage and everything was real. She was waiting upstairs and we weren’t ready at the time and now I did the proposal again.”

“The reason I proposed to her again is that I believe that all women deserve a proper proposal and Dounia deserved it I think the most. So I was like ‘I am not going to propose you behind a wall’. So, I wanted to make it special and do it a nice way because she deserved it,” added Chafic. How sweet is that!

Previously, Chafic and Dounia shared a bunch of photos on Instagram, and one was a close-up image of the diamond ring. In one of the photos, Chafic and Dounia shared a hug.

Now, we are waiting for the couple to tie the knot soon.
