‘Love is Blind, Habibi‘, a new dating reality show adapted from the American hit show ‘Love is Blind‘, was released on Netflix 10. All nine episodes were released on the same day. Hosted by celebrity couple Khaled Saqer and Elham Ali, ‘Love is Blind, Habibi‘ shows Arab singles looking for love connect and get engaged before meeting face-to-face.
The six couples who got engaged in the pods are – Chafic and Dounia, Ammar and Karma, Mohammed and Safa, Asma and Khatab, Simo and Hajar, and Mido and Nour. Of the six engaged couples, only three walked down the aisle. Who are they, you ask? Chafic and Dounia, Asma and Khatab, and Safa and Mohammed.
While Chafic and Dounia mutually decided not to get married on ‘Love is Blind, Habibi‘ and continue dating outside the show, Asma and Khatab too made a similar decision. Safa and Mohammed became the only couple to tie the knot. Fans who’ve watched the show are eager to know about the reunion episode. Are the couples still together? So, when is the reunion episode coming out? The release date has not been revealed yet. However, if Netflix follows its recent trend of quick reunion releases, fans can expect it to drop next week or by the very end of this month.
The gap between the final and reunion episodes for other international versions of the dating show has not been too much. ‘Love is Blind, Sweden‘ took two days, ‘Love is Blind, Brazil‘ kept fans waiting for two days whereas ‘Love is Blind, UK‘ reunion episode was dropped five days after the season finale.
