Fans of Love is Blind in the UAE, are you listening? This is not a drill. A Habibi edition of the popular reality dating show has hit Netflix with ample drama and love conflicts. Celebrity couple Elham Ali and Khaled Saqer host the brand new series where Arab singles connect and commit to marriage before meeting each other face-to-face.

With ample highs and lows, the tornado that hit the love and wedding territory of the participants is all exciting and bingeworthy. Many suitors were introduced in the pod segment but only six couples made it through and by the wedding day only three remained. After several hiccups, one of them decided to tie the knot. Find out who they are here:

Asma and Khatab

The couple wasn’t off to a good start because when they first met face-to-face, Asma began doubting her decision to be engaged. Earlier in the pod, the entrepreneur and regional marketing manager expressed she wanted her groom to be athletic but Khatab’s overweight physique came as a shocker to her.

The couple briefly dropped off the experiment over issues of Asma feeling uncomfortable but they returned to give each other a shot. Affection began to bloom again but major trouble arose when Asma’s family showed reluctance toward her decision to get married in a couple of weeks. Her parents did not show up at the marriage ceremony which contributed to being one of the major reasons why she didn’t say ‘I do’ to Khatab and left the aisle.

In their final moments on ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’, Asma and Khatab had a heart-to-heart where they decided to continue dating out of the experiment. Their current relationship status will be revealed in the reunion episode.

Dounia and Chafic

The youngest couple on ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ had their fair share of ups and downs. They got embroiled in arguments ample times over differences in opinion but always managed to find their way back to each other. A particular jealousy conflict stemmed between the two after it was revealed Chafic knew Nour, a model and another contestant on the show from before.

Dounia didn’t like his partner interacting with Nour, also his bachelor lifestyle raised ample alarms causing disputes. However, they managed to salvage their bond until the end and mutually decided they didn’t want to be legally wedded on the marriage day. Just like Asma and Khatab, Dounia and Chafic planned to continue dating outside the bounds of the show.

Safa and Mohammed

Safa, a financial manager found love in Mohammed, a marketing and brand manager during the pods. Theirs was the smoothest journey on the show despite a few hiccups here and there. Safa and Mohammed’s families officially met and gave the couple their blessings, which was followed by a fairytale wedding ceremony, where they both said ‘I do’ to begin happily ever after.
