These past few weeks have been tough for ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ couple Dounia and Chafic. They had a major disagreement and needed space to clear their minds, and eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice something was off between the two. It didn’t take long for their breakup speculation to go wild on the internet. But Chafic is finally setting the record straight.
During his recent appearance on the Kris Fade Show, the reality star confirmed he is still engaged to Dounia. When asked if they broke up sometime in the last month, Chafic quickly denied, “Break up? No! We had some arguments like all couples do. With us, we are transparent, either black, either white. We cannot fake it for social media. The amount of campaigns, we rejected, when we needed space, I swear I don’t think a lot of people would refuse these kinds of campaigns. From her side from my side, together for Valentine’s Day, we said no because fame or money will never be between us.”
Chafic continued, “And we needed this time, she needed time to clear her mind, I needed time to clear my mind, which is totally normal in any relation. A perfect relationship doesn’t exist, otherwise you fake it.”
Well, after all is said and done Chafic admitted, “We came back much much stronger than before.”
Chafic and Dounia have been engaged twice, once in ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ and the second time in real life, a year after filming the social experiment.
