The Arabic edition of Love Is Blind has finally been released with lots of drama, fights, affection, and a rollercoaster ride of marriage prep. Celebrity couple Elham Ali and Khaled Saqer host the brand new show where Arab singles connect and commit to marriage before meeting each other face-to-face.
Many suitors were introduced in the pod segment but only six couples made it through the initial round of the social experiment. Take a look at them here:
Dounia and Chafic
Douni and Chaific, the youngest couple on ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ shared an adorable bond, and despite facing differences in opinion and a jealousy conflict, they managed to salvage their bond until the end.
Karma and Ammar

Karma and Ammar fell head over heels for each other and were the first couples to get engaged on season 1 of ‘Love is Blind, Habibi.’ Though it appeared they might stick around to stay ‘I do’, Ammar’s problematic opinion about Karma’s professional choice of being a belly dancer thawed argument and discontent among the two. With no break through in the conflict, they eventually decided to call it quits during the holiday segment.
Safa and Moammed

Safa, a Financial Manager in the energy sector found herself in a love triangle of sorts with businessman Karim and marketing and brand manager Mohammed. As the dates progressed, Safa broke her ties with Karim, feeling he could not express his emotions well, and chose to move ahead in the experiment with Mohammed.
Asma and Khatab

Asma, an entrepreneur and regional marketing manager developed an affection for Mido, a real estate consultant, and Khatab, a DJ, architect, and also a music producer. She eventually chose Khatab as her partner.
Hajar and Simo

Arguably one of the most controversial couples on the show, Hajar, a true fashionista, and Simo, a retail business owner shared a tumultuous relationship. During the pods, Hajar’s remark about trying something wild while planning their Bachelors party didn’t sit right with Simo. Later in the holiday segment, they continued to bicker, leading to Simo’s sudden exit which he didn’t inform or discuss with his partner.
Nour and Mido

After facing rejection from Chafic, Nour, a model, kept her options open and decided to move ahead in the experiment with Mido. The couple lacked compatibility and showed no signs of affection whatsoever prompting Mido to exit the show, just like Simo.
‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ is available to stream on Netflix.
