Lisa Kudrow won hearts as Phoebe Buffay in ‘Friends‘. It’s been years but her iconic character still makes everyone laugh and relate to her in many ways.

In the latest episode of Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s ‘Dinner on Me’ podcast, Kudrow revealed that she hadn’t watched many of the episodes of the hit sitcom but recently started watching it. The actress said, “There’s episodes I’ve never seen. I mean I was at the table read. I don’t know what the rewrites were for the other stories, you know? There are episodes I just never saw, and still haven’t because I’m still deciding how to work my way through it. It’s like a certain amount of anxiety around watching it.”

She further revealed that one of the scenes that made her cry was when her character Phoebe married Paul Rudd’s Mike in the show’s tenth season.

“When Phoebe got married, and she’s walking down the aisle and has this huge smile on her face, I teared up because she was so happy. She was so just, like, honestly happy, and it was really touching to me. Like, she deserves to be this happy,” said Kudrow.

Phoebe and Mike Hannigan’s wedding remains one of the most beautiful scenes from ‘Friends‘. The scene was emotional as Joey Tribbiani officiated the ceremony and filled in as Phoebe’s father.

Friends‘ starred Lisa as Phoebe, Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green, Courteney Cox as Monica Geller, David Schwimmer as Ross Geller, Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, and the late Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing.

During the candid conversation, Lisa revealed that the group ‘worked hard at being friends’ with ‘respectful communication’.
