Reports suggest that it will feature a 1.5K display, a triple rear camera system, and wireless charging capabilities. Additionally, an alleged render of the device has emerged online, indicating a design similar to the camera configuration found in the previous Mate 50 series.

According to a Weibo post by the tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese), the anticipated Huawei Mate 70 will have a 6.69-inch display with a 1.5K resolution. Similar to last year’s Huawei Mate 60, the forthcoming model is expected to include a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel sensor with a 1/1.5-inch size and variable aperture.

The camera configuration is also reported to feature a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. For security, the Huawei Mate 70 is expected to incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Furthermore, the device is rumored to support wireless charging and may come with an official rating for dust and water resistance.

Gizmochina has also released a render of the alleged Huawei Mate 70. The image depicts the device in a white color variant, featuring slim bezels on every side. The camera module appears to be distinct from that of the Huawei Mate 60 series, yet it aligns with the design of the Huawei Mate 50. The cameras, along with the LED flash, are organized within a circular module.
