It starts with a soul-shifting, magical secret. From the anticipation of the little ‘+’ sign to the realization of parenthood, to – who do we tell first? Those roller coaster emotions for expectant parents are unforgettable. In recent years, recreating those feelings with loved ones is something expectant parents have come to crave. Earlier it just used to be “We’re having a baby” and you were done.

Today, having a baby has become a lavish celebration. From pregnancy announcements to gender reveals, everyone has been outdoing themselves with bigger, brighter, and bolder parties. The same goes for the parents who welcome their homes to pet babies.

Pregnancy announcements for pets are unheard of but with changing times anything is possible and radio hosts Brent Black and Eve are proof of it. The couple pulled a fake pregnancy announcement and everyone fell for it.

All they did was pose like they were announcing baby news but when you look closer the sonography clearly indicates it’s a fur baby. Well, congratulations are in order for the couple but there’s a section of users who weren’t impressed with their unique announcement. Even ‘Dubai Bling’ fame Kris Fade called it ‘Stupid.’

A user on Instagram commented, “Cruel to make us get excited for a human baby but cute way of announcing your fur baby.” Another agreed, “This is a terrible joke.” One more joined the bandwagon, “Mmmmm don’t really see the funny side considering so many people struggle with pregnancy….. it’s just a new cat or dog people calm down.”

Having said that, there were many who loved the couple’s unique approach. What do you think of the prank?
