Over the years, Shah Rukh Khan has proved he can pull off any role. From playing a romantic guy to a badass villain, SRK can do anything effortlessly and there’s absolutely no denying that. In 2023, King Khan impressed fans with his terrific performances in ‘Pathaan‘, ‘Jawan‘, and ‘Dunki‘. He will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s directorial ‘King‘ and we bet fans are excited about it.

While the film has not been officially announced, SRK confirmed being a part of it at the Locarno Film Festival in August. Since then, many have been waiting to know about the upcoming film. We finally have an update. According to a PeepingMoon report, SRK will be playing the role of an assassin in the action thriller.

The film which also stars SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Varma will reportedly go on floors by year-end.

Previously, SRK had expressed his desire to play an assassin during his appearance at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. When asked about the characters he would like to play, he said, ‘I am not stereotyped; I am hero type,’ before adding ‘I think I have a new way of playing a bad guy’. He further mentioned that 2023 allowed him to do action onscreen, but now he’s looking to play a baddie.

Apart from making his dream come true by taking on the role of an assassin in ‘King‘, the upcoming film is extra special for him. The film directed by Sujoy Ghosh will mark his first onscreen collaboration with daughter Suhana Khan. The star kid made her Bollywood debut with ‘The Archies‘ last year. Fans are now excited to see her opposite her father. As of now, details about Suhana, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma’s roles have not been revealed.
