Much to everyone’s shock, Kim Sae-ron’s aunt recently revealed that Kim Soo-hyun was in a relationship with the late actress for six years. The ‘Bloodhounds’ actress was only 15 when she started dating Soo-hyun, who was 27, sparking intense debate online. Amid this, Sae-ron’s mother has opened up about her family’s motivations for the exposé.
In an interview with the Gero Sero Institute, Sae-ron’s mother stated that she wants to restore her late daughter’s honor. She clarified that she wasn’t trying to benefit anything for the controversy. She claimed that her daughter’s reputation was destroyed by articles full of lies in the past, and now, she wants to tell the truth so that people will remember her as a reputable actress rather than a gossip.
“The reason I am speaking about a child who has already left me is because I want to restore her honor, which was destroyed in a split second by articles full of lies. I am not trying to gain something or to sow discord. I only hope that her life will be remembered and treasured posthumously as an acknowledged actress. I don’t want her to become someone’s gossip, so please help me restore her name posthumously,” Sae-ron’s mother said.

We apologise for causing exhaustionn with the length of the wait. Please understand that this is to avoid continuous statement releases. Thank you.”
