Keanu Reeves escapes injury after car goes off-track during pro racing debut; Watch

Keanu Reeves is one of the most loved actors in the industry. Over the years, he has delivered several hit performances. On Saturday, October 5, Keanua added a new feather to his cap as he made his debut as a professional auto racer. The ‘John Wick‘ star spun out of track but re-joined the race later and did not suffer any injury.

At the Indianapolis motor Speedway, Reeves spun into the grass as he lost control of his car. According to multiple reports, he lost control and veered into the grass at the exit of Turn 9, approximately midway through the 45-minute event, but thankfully there was no collision. He remained composed and rejoined the race later.

The actor, who qualified 31st out of the 35 cars, ran as high as 21st and successfully navigated a first-lap crash at Turn 14. He finished in the 25th place.

Reacting to the incident, a fan wrote, “Oh, it was scary. God protect Keanu. God is great.” Another fan commented, “Hope u r ok.” “I hope he is good,” wrote a fan. Another one dropped a comment saying, “Please be careful.”

Reportedly, he was competing in the Toyota GR Cup at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana, US. He previously participated in the celebrity race at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, which he won in 2009.

On the work front, Keanu is set to reprise his role as ‘John Wick’ in a reported cameo in Ana de Armas starrer ‘From the World of John Wick: Ballerina‘, which is slated to be released in 2025. The actor also has ‘Matrix 5‘.
