Prince Harry celebrated his 40th birthday on September 15. Prince William, King Charles, and other royal family members wished the Duke of Sussex a happy 40th birthday through social media posts. According to the latest report, Kate Middleton played a big role in Harry receiving all the birthday wishes from his family members.
The Express, quoting an insider, said the Princess of Wales was the ‘driving force’ behind the birthday message posted on the royal family’s official social media pages.
The source further claimed Kate told Prince William, who is currently not on talking terms with his younger brother, that ‘this is not the time for resentment’. “They needed to show the world that love and family are front and center of their lives, but more importantly she wanted Harry to have this message on his big day,” added the source.
The royal family’s official Instagram account shared a picture of Prince Harry smiling along with the caption, “Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!”
Kate wants to ‘restore some kind of peace and forgiveness’ between Harry and the family members ‘before it’s too late’. The source also revealed that Kate sent a birthday gift to Harry, but did not disclose what it was.
A few days ago, it was reported that Prince Harry received a call from his father King Charles III on his birthday. The call was made to ‘bring their relationship back on track’.
In 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties and moved to the US. The Duchess of Sussex last visited the UK in 2022 for the late Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. The Duke of Sussex is set to return to the UK on September 30 to attend an event.
