Scarlett Johansson, best known for playing Black Widow aka Agent Natasha Romanoff in MCU, is set to play a lead role in Jurassic World 4. David Koepp, who wrote the original Steven Spielberg-directed Jurassic Park (1993) and its sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), returned to the franchise after 30 years to develop the script of the fourth installment. Meanwhile, Godzilla fame Gareth Edwards has been recruited to helm the movie.
Now, during his recent interaction with the Empire magazine, Edwards spilled the beans about Johansson’s character. “She’s looking for meaning in her life after leaving the military. And this opportunity comes along where basically she’d never have to work again. But through that journey, she starts to question the ethical rights and wrongs of what they’re doing,” the director revealed.

More details about the plot remain scarce but the upcoming film will also star Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo in key roles.
