BLACKPINK’s Lisa is on a roll! In June of this year, Lisa released her comeback single ‘Rockstar‘, followed by ‘New Woman‘ in August. And now, Lisa is set to drop one more song before she releases her solo album.
On September 26, Lisa posted what appears to be a teaser for a new song. In the video, the K-pop idol sets up a microphone and sings the words ‘so kiss me’.
Though the track plays homage to Sixpence None the Richer’s hit ‘Kiss Me‘, the red-lipped emoji in Lisa’s caption has fans thinking that Sabrina might be joining the rapper on the song. For the uninitiated, the red lips are a huge part of Carpenter’s latest album ‘Short n’ Sweet‘, where a red-lipped kiss mark can be seen on her shoulder on the cover of her album.
Reacting to Lisa’s post, a fan wrote, “I feel like it’s with @sabrinacarpenter.” Another fan commented, “I think it’s Sabrina I’m so excited.” “LISA X SABRINA????”, wrote a fan. Another fan dropped a comment saying, “Sabrina Carpenter????”
Lisa and Sabrina are known to be good friends. In 2023, Lisa attended Sabrina’s concert. Post that, they reunited at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in March this year. Earlier this month, Lisa attended the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. The rapper later took to Instagram and shared photos from the after-party featuring besties Sabrina and Tyla.
On the other hand, Lisa is set to make her acting debut with HBO’s ‘The White Lotus‘ season 3, which will be released in 2025.
