The iPhone SE 4 has been the subject of speculation for an extended period. While we await official confirmation regarding its release, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg has indicated that Apple is preparing to introduce the iPhone SE 4 in early 2025.

This new budget-friendly iPhone model may be launched in conjunction with the latest iPad Air and related accessories. Reports suggest that the iPhone SE 4 will eliminate the Home Button in favor of Face ID technology and will include features associated with Apple Intelligence.

According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Gurman, referencing internal sources, notes that Apple is approaching the production phase of the updated iPhone SE, which is codenamed V59.

The company is also planning to produce new models of the iPad Air and keyboards for simultaneous release.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to move away from the traditional home button design, adopting an edge-to-edge display. It is anticipated to incorporate Face ID and support for Apple Intelligence, a suite of AI tools that will soon be available in the iPhone 16 and premium iPhone 15 models.

Design-wise, the iPhone SE 4 is likely to take cues from the iPhone 14 released in 2022, featuring a notch cutout at the top.

In contrast, the current iPhone SE available in the Apple Store closely resembles the iPhone 8, characterized by Touch ID, prominent bezels, and a single rear camera.

The introduction of the new iPhone SE is expected to bolster Apple’s position in the budget smartphone market, potentially reclaiming market share lost to competitors such as Huawei and Xiaomi.

In addition to the iPhone SE 4, Apple is reportedly set to unveil new iPad Air models, codenamed J607 and J637, featuring 11-inch and 13-inch displays early next year, as per Gurman.

An updated version of the Magic Keyboard accessory, a refreshed Mac mini, and upgraded MacBook Pros and iMacs equipped with an M4 chip and Apple Intelligence features are also anticipated to be announced in 2025.
