Netflix has launched a new “Season Download” feature for users of iPhone and iPad, enabling them to download an entire season of a series with a single tap for offline viewing.

This functionality was previously exclusive to Android users. Until now, Netflix subscribers on iOS or iPadOS had to download each episode one by one, a process that could be quite tedious.

With the new feature, full seasons can be downloaded directly from the show’s display page, where the option is conveniently located next to the Share button.

Users can still manage their downloaded content through the My Netflix section. Netflix initially introduced offline viewing in 2016 and has since enhanced the feature with updates like Smart Downloads, which automatically replaces watched episodes with the next available installment in a series.

In conjunction with this announcement, Netflix disclosed its most-downloaded series, which include “Squid Game” seasons one and two, “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” “One Piece,” and “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.”

This update comes at a time when Netflix has recently implemented price increases, raising the cost of its premium ad-free plan to $24.99 per month, while the standard ad-free plan now costs $17.99. The ad-supported tier has also seen an increase, now priced at $7.99 per month.

Subscribers on ad-free plans can maintain up to 100 active downloads per device, whereas those on ad-supported plans are limited to only 15 total downloads per month.
