Honor is reportedly set to disrupt the mid-range smartphone sector with its upcoming “Power” series, which is expected to launch in 2025. The company has teased this new lineup on Weibo, highlighting a device that promises impressive specifications, including an exceptionally large battery.

Recent leaks and certifications indicate that the launch may be imminent. On April 1, Honor shared a cryptic message on Weibo: “Good morning! Tell everyone a big deal! We are about to launch a Power mobile phone, with a huge battery life and a long battery life that I can’t even use up…” (translated from Chinese).

This enigmatic statement left fans speculating, but tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo provided additional insights. The device, likely identified as the DVD-AN00 in MIIT and 3C databases, appears to be a mid-range smartphone with high-end features.

It boasts a substantial 8000mAh battery, potentially rivaling the Pro-grade battery performance of the Magic 7 and X60 series, along with 80W fast charging and satellite SMS capabilities for off-grid communication. The tipster also hinted at a mysterious “flagship-level technology,” possibly involving advanced display technology, which adds to the excitement.

Honor has been emphasizing battery life recently, and this Power phone seems designed to enhance that reputation. Although targeted at the mid-range market, it is likely to include premium features—such as satellite connectivity—to differentiate itself. The 3C certification suggests that an announcement may be forthcoming, potentially later this month, in line with Honor’s teaser.

What additional features this device will offer—beyond power and endurance—remains uncertain, but it is evident that Honor is making a significant investment in longevity and innovation to attract users. Based on the recent releases from the Magic series, the Power lineup could potentially transform expectations for mid-range Android devices.
