Sophie Turner, who played the role of Sansa Stark in all seasons of HBO’s hit show ‘Game of Thrones‘, would love to reprise her character. But wait, she has a condition to return as the iconic character. What is it, you ask? She wants the same cast and crew as part of her return condition. Yes, you’ve read it right.
In a recent interview with Variety, Sophie was asked whether she would love to reprise her character and she responded, “Maybe.” The actress added, “I mean, it would have to be the exact same cast and the exact same crew otherwise I wouldn’t go back and that would just be season 9, and I don’t think we’re going to do a Season 9, but I mean, I loved playing Sansa, and I do wonder often what would she be doing now.”
“Where would she be five years later, what would she be doing? Would she still be queen in the North? Would she be a good ruler? Would there be some kind of terrible war that’s happened? I’d love to see,” added Turner.
Apart from Sophie Turner, ‘Game of Thrones‘ starred Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Masie Williams, and Jason Momoa among others. The show premiered in 2011 and came to an end in 2019 with eight seasons. The final season received mixed reactions from the fans. Many felt that the last season was rushed.
Earlier this month, Peter Dinklage, who played the role of Tyrion Lannister, defended the last season saying, “I like the finale. You don’t have to agree with me.”
