Galaxy Tab S10 series with Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, AI features launched

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series was officially introduced in India and worldwide on Thursday. This series includes two models: the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.

According to the South Korean technology giant, these tablets are the first to be specifically designed for artificial intelligence (AI) and are equipped with Galaxy AI, which is Samsung’s collection of AI functionalities for smartphones, tablets, and other devices. They feature specifications such as Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipsets, and support for the S-Pen.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ features a 12.4-inch display with a resolution of 2800×1752 pixels. Its dimensions are 185.4 x 285.4 x 5.6 mm, and it weighs 571g for the Wi-Fi model and 576g for the 5G variant.

The tablet is equipped with a dual rear camera system that includes a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera for selfies. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The device is powered by a 10,090mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging.

In contrast, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra boasts a larger 14.6-inch display with a resolution of 2960×1848 pixels. It has dimensions of 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.4 mm and weighs 718g for the Wi-Fi version and 723g for the 5G model.

This tablet also features the same dual rear camera setup as the S10+, but it includes dual 12-megapixel front cameras located within a notch. While the connectivity options are largely similar, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra additionally supports Wi-Fi 7. It is powered by an 11,200mAh battery with the same fast charging capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series is set to be available for purchase in select markets starting on October 3, 2024, featuring color options of Moonstone Gray and Platinum Silver. Pre-orders are currently open on Samsung’s official website.
