Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series is generating significant excitement ahead of its release, with recent leaks indicating the potential addition of a new “Slim” model to the lineup. This model is anticipated to showcase a distinctive camera arrangement, aiming to merge high-end performance with a more streamlined design.

A prior report from the well-known leaker Ice Universe hinted that this new variant would incorporate an “Ultra” camera, likely featuring a 200MP primary sensor. However, no additional specifics regarding the camera system were provided by the source.

A recent leak from X user @Saaaanjjjuuu has now revealed details about the three sensors that the speculated Galaxy S25 Slim may include.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to house a 200MP main camera, utilizing Samsung’s forthcoming Isocell HP5 sensor, which measures 1/1.56″, making it smaller than the 1/1.3″ Isocell HP2 sensor found in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This reduced size aligns with Samsung’s initiative for a more slender design, as it minimizes the camera module’s protrusion and may contribute to a thinner overall device profile.

In addition to the primary sensor, the Slim model is expected to feature two 1/2.76″ Isocell JN5 sensors for ultrawide and 3.5x telephoto functions. The telephoto lens is particularly noteworthy due to its higher resolution (50MP compared to the current 10MP of the 3x telephoto), along with a slightly extended zoom range.

With a resolution of 50MP, this telephoto configuration is anticipated to deliver sharper digital zoom capabilities, akin to those seen in the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 50MP 5x telephoto lens and the Oppo Find X8 Pro’s 6x telephoto lens.

Samsung’s innovative ALoP (Advanced Lens on Plastic) technology is said to play a vital role in the design of the Slim model. This advancement reduces the thickness of the camera assembly while maintaining optical performance.

Furthermore, AI-driven enhancements are expected to elevate clarity and detail, especially in zoomed images, building on the features introduced with the Galaxy S24 series.
